Position Summary:
The Data Systems Intern will have exposure to several areas across the BS&A team, including assisting with projects in Salesforce CRM, process automations, compiling & analyzing data, and data hygiene.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Support day-to-day quality assurance and troubleshooting of Salesforce CRM
- Support data validation, data entry and data cleaning initiatives
- Utilize data warehouse to draw insights pertinent to sales, marketing, and facility operation KPIs
- Collaborate with fellow BS&A team members to build user-friendly reports
- All other duties as assigned
What You Will Learn:
- The importance of data as the backbone for decision making in sports business
- Best practices for data cleanliness, including data hygiene and building tests
- Basic principles of data engineering and how data moves between systems
- Process automations and their importance in workflows
Required Experience & Qualifications:
- Experience with SQL
- Experience with reporting, dashboarding and data visualizations tools (Tableau preferred)
- Extremely organized and detail oriented, resourceful, quick learner and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- A high degree of personal integrity and consistently put the interests of the organization first
- Must be a fierce communicator and cross-organizational collaborator

- In accordance with Washington’s Equal Pay and Opportunity Act, the pay range for the position is $21.50-$22.50/hr. Actual base pay will depend on the employee’s experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.

Working Conditions:
- This role is based on-site in our Seattle office and requires work to be performed in person. However, we do value flexibility as the business will allow, and offer occasional opportunities to work from home.
- This role will work approximately 20-30 hours per week. Hours may fluctuate based on school schedule, work assigned, etc.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule inclusive of weekends, nights and holidays required.
- Frequent bending, lifting 15-20 pounds, sitting, exposure to multiple external elements, extensive walking through the building including inclines and stairs.
- Must have transportation to and from events.
