Marketing Intern
 Department: Communications & Marketing
Location: Cincinnati, Ohio       
FLSA Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt **Term:**April/May 2026 – August/September 2026
 **Job Summary:**Support the Communications & Marketing department with a variety of duties and responsibilities, with a focus on traditional and digital marketing campaign support.
 Employees are expected to follow all Cincinnati Reds policies and procedures, serve as positive role models, and manage their workload effectively. This includes demonstrating flexibility, prioritizing tasks efficiently, and meeting departmental productivity standards.
 **Minimum Requirements:**Education | Bachelor’s degree or pursuing bachelor’s degree

Experience | * Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.

• Copywriting experience
• Strong knowledge of the Cincinnati Reds and Major League Baseball
• Strong knowledge and familiarity with X, Facebook, Instagram and other social media platforms

Skills | Excellent time management and strong attention to detail  **Preferred Qualifications:**Education | Bachelor’s degree

Experience | Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (i.e. Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and photo editing/clipping experience a plus.

Copywriting, editing and proofreading for Reds marketing materials and advertising campaigns | 20%
Assist with traffic instructions for media partners | 15%
Summarization of advertising support for Corporate partners | 15%
Assist with pulling and interpreting reports for performance media campaigns | 20%
Benchmarking other MLB teams’ initiatives, promotions, advertising campaigns | 15%
Distribute promotional items departmentally and to local media partners | 5%
Support Communications & Marketing team with game day needs and off-site promotional events as assigned | 5%
Other duties as assigned | 5%             **Reporting Structure:*This role reports directly to the Advertising & Media Manager
 Physical Requirements: Occasionally required to sit

• Use hands, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear
• Light lifting/carrying to assist with event preparation
• May be exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time
• Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate

**Schedule:*Approximately 12-15 hours per week; some night/weekend hours could be required, including games.
 Additional Information: This is a seasonal opportunity; no benefits will be provided.

• Seasonal employment will last a maximum of 35 weeks.
