Position Summary: We are looking for a seasonal intern who will aid in the production of any one of our daily programs, ranging from The Big Pro Football Show and The Chicago Lead, as well as pre- and postgame coverage for the White Sox. This person will be responsible for logging video for use in shows, which comes from game feeds, ENG, and ingested media. Our intern will get to know the ins-and-outs of studio production by carrying out production needs at United Center and Rate Field, learning to create graphics within iNews, and researching stats for the shows. Mainly, we are searching for a self-driven person who wants to be a part of a team that strives to deliver quality sports content. 

Key Responsibilities:·       Log games, press conferences, ENG video, etc.·       Assist producers for shows at the United Center and Rate Field·       Learn to build graphics for daily programming·       Research stats for use in shows·       Run teleprompter when needed

Qualifications:
Minimum ·       Currently enrolled as a junior or senior in an accredited undergraduate program·       Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Broadcasting, Journalism, Communications, Media Studies, Digital Media, Sports Management, Marketing, or a related field.·       Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher·       Strong written and verbal communication skills·       Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment·       Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)·       Demonstrated interest in the field through coursework, extracurriculars, or previous experience

Preferred·       Prior internship or volunteer experience·       Strong organizational and multitasking abilities·       Problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills·       Ability to commit to a full‑time, 8–10 week summer program·       Enthusiasm for learning and professional development·       Familiarity with news/sports production·       Knowledge of the Chicago sports scene
