Accounting Intern - NHL

Summary

The Accounting Intern will provide administrative and basic accounting support for various departmental tasks and projects on a seasonal basis.

Duties & Responsibilities:

· Assist the Finance Department in completing day to day tasks, including the preparation of journal entry support, mail distribution, data pulling, and general research.

· Provide support to AR and AP related needs, such as tracking incoming payments, sending invoices and payments, reviewing and analyzing vendor statements, etc.

· Assist with data analysis and validation projects

· Perform other projects as assigned

· Be accountable for work assigned and the timely completion of each assigned task.

Minimum Qualifications for the Position:

· Currently enrolled in a 2 or 4 year program, finance and accounting majors preferred

· Communication skills

· Organized and detail oriented

· Professional, confidential

· Available to work 2-3 days /week

Compensation:

This role pays an hourly rate of $16.00.
