Job Overview: The New York Giants are looking for a recent graduate to serve as a Social Media Intern who has an authentic passion for social culture, football, and thrives in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate is creative and works well in fast-paced environments. You will assist the social media team on the day-to-day distribution of Giants content across all owned social channels. 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in creating and publishing the day-to-day social content across Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, Threads, Snapchat, LinkedIn, and YouTube
  • Ideate and execute compelling trend-driven content that engages fans and drives follower growth
  • Assist in the maintenance of the social media calendar
  • Provide hands-on coverage for every home and away game
  • Attend brand events and capture live coverage as needed
  • Contribute to brainstorming social concepts for sponsor and marketing campaigns
  • Monitor all player social media accounts for content and work with players to create custom content for Giants’ channels
  • Identify the latest trends, current events, and proactively recommend best practices relevant to the Giants brand
  • Assist in monitoring fan sentiment and identify suggestions to increase overall reach and engagements

Qualifications:

  • Experience in social media content creation for a profession brand. Sports is preferred
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong understanding of the following social platforms: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
  • Experience with Adobe Premiere, & CapCut
  • Exceptional writing skills
  • Must be available to work non-traditional hours, holidays, and weekends as it relates to the NFL schedule

You will be expected to work 40 hours per week between Mid-July through end of professional football season. Hours will be Monday through Friday during normal business hours and on gamedays (mostly Sundays) during the NFL season, but may also include additional nights and weekends as required. This position is full-time for the 2026-2027 football season and in-person at the Giants’ offices in East Rutherford, N.J.

This is a paid internship at $18.00/hour.
