Job description
Who We Are
Tottenham Hotspur Foundation (the Foundation) is a registered charity and the community arm of Premier League football club Tottenham Hotspur. The Club, through the Foundation, seeks to use the power and unique appeal of football to provide opportunities that change lives throughout its local community.
The Foundation is based at the Grade II-listed 18th century Percy House on Tottenham High Road – painstakingly restored by the Club as part of the wider sport-led regeneration of the area. We are driven by a passion for creating positive change in people’s lives within an area of significant socio-economic deprivation, yet where a vibrancy and richness of talent and ambition exist. The Foundation harnesses and builds on this through a range of projects and initiatives to pursue, achieve and sustain desired impacts and outcomes, utilising partnerships within the private, not-for-profit, and public sectors.
Our aim is to become the most socially impactful sports-based charity in the UK, creating at least ÂŁ30m of social value by 2026.
Job Purpose
To support the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation’s mission by delivering high-quality data analysis, reporting, and insights to improve programme performance and evidence community impact. The role works closely with the Insight & Impact Manager, Senior Leadership Team where necessary, and delivery teams to track progress against key metrics, enhance data-collection systems, and support informed decision-making at the operational level.
As an Insight & Impact Analyst, you will play a key role in embedding a strong data culture across the Foundation, using insight to drive operational performance, inform decision-making, and support high-quality external reporting. You will contribute to the development of this data culture, including supporting the establishment of consistent data definitions, standards, and processes, working closely with and under the guidance of the Insight & Impact Manager. In doing so, you will help embed data-driven practices across the Foundation, enabling programme delivery teams to better understand and optimise their impact on the communities of the Spurs Heartlands.
Key Responsibilities
Data analysis & reporting
- Provide detailed analysis of programme performance and community impact using Salesforce and other data systems such as Tableau/Power BI.
- Support the design, build, and maintenance of dashboards and reports (e.g. Power BI / Tableau) to provide clear, real-time insight of key metrics to teams.
- Support the preparation and presentation of insights, translating complex datasets into clear, actionable outputs tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences to drive informed decision-making.
- Conduct regular and ad hoc analyses to assess programme effectiveness and support evidence-based decision-making.
- Support programme monitoring and improvement
- Collaborate with delivery managers and programme coordinators to identify meaningful metrics that align with programme objectives and the overall Foundation strategy.
- Assist in tracking, analysing, and interpreting variances in programme outcomes, providing actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives by embedding a culture of data use and continuous learning within programme teams.
KPI tracking and targeting
- Work with the Insight and Impact Manager to monitor progress towards organisational and programme-specific KPIs.
- Identify trends, risks and opportunities to help programme teams adjust delivery approaches for improved performance.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of performance frameworks across the Foundation.
- System management and optimisation
- Act as an administrator of the Foundation’s data systems and support the effective use and ongoing improvement (predominantly Salesforce) to ensure accurate data collection and reporting.
- Support the integration and alignment of data systems with operational processes, ensuring data integrity and usability. Help ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across collection, input, and reporting processes.
- Troubleshoot data and system issues, such as integrations between data collection tools and Salesforce, escalating where appropriate.
Stakeholder engagement
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including programme delivery managers and senior leaders, alongside the Insight & Impact Manager, to provide relevant and timely insights that drive programme and strategy improvements.
- Contribute to data storytelling that clearly evidences impact, supporting delivery managers in securing funding and strengthening the Foundation’s strategic positioning.
- Capacity building and knowledge sharing
- Support the Insight & Impact Manager to train programme delivery staff on the effective use of dashboards, data tools, and reporting mechanisms.
- Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making by promoting the value of insights across the organisation.
- Promote data literacy and confidence across teams to enable more informed decision-making.
- Due to the nature of the industry and the role, some out-of-office hours work would be required from time to time, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
Safeguarding Responsibilities
