About the Role

We are looking for a Back-End Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-based applications using Go. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build reliable backend services and APIs that support our products. The role involves working with GCP, PostgreSQL, microservices, and event-driven architectures, while contributing to a modern and efficient development environment.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based backend applications using Go.
• Build scalable RESTful APIs and event-driven services using microservices architecture.
• Develop and maintain backend services on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL databases for efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following software development best practices.
• Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and improve system reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver solutions aligned with business needs.
• Follow emerging technologies and contribute ideas to improve backend architecture.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong hands-on experience in backend development with Go.
• Experience building cloud-based applications, preferably with GCP.
• Solid understanding of PostgreSQL and database design.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, event-driven systems, and microservices.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and Git.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools and integrating AI into the software development lifecycle.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively within a team.
