2027 Summer Internship Program (Operations)

The Newport Gulls Summer Internship Program has evolved over the years, providing college students with the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a variety of sports, media, and business-related fields. Interns can expect to learn from the wide range responsibility that goes into running a non-profit summer collegiate baseball team. This includes day-to-day sports management and baseball operations, marketing and community relations,  media and public relations, and organizing special events throughout the season.

Typical Summer internship commitments run from Mid-May through Mid-August, involving a combination of office hours, community involvement, and mandatory attendance at ALL home games. However, interns seeking to maximize their overall experience and learning will have opportunities to immersed into more involved roles, which typically begin around March and/or April and run through the culmination of the season in Mid-August.

These roles include:* Assistant Operations/Entertainment Coordinators

• Ticket Booth/Financial Manager
• Summer Camp Director
• Inventory/Retail Manager
• Clubhouse Event Manager

A part of the 13-team New England Collegiate Baseball League (NECBL) and eight-time league champions, The Newport Gulls are looking for interns who share the ambition and passion to be the best of the best.
