The Role

The Minnesota Twins are recruiting a Senior Analyst, Baseball Research to lead advanced statistical research, player evaluation and analytical modelling across Baseball Operations.

The role combines technical research leadership, evidence-based decision support and mentoring of junior analysts.

What You'll Do

• Analyse player and ball-tracking data.
• Develop models evaluating batting, pitching and defence.
• Support player development, scouting and recruitment decisions.
• Build and improve analytical models, data pipelines and reporting tools.
• Mentor analysts and translate research into actionable insights.

What You'll Need

• 3+ years' experience in statistical modelling, data analysis or quantitative research.
• Graduate degree in a quantitative discipline or equivalent professional experience.
• Proficiency in Python, R, SQL or similar programming languages.
• Experience designing research and analysing complex datasets.
• Ability to communicate technical findings effectively.

Desirable: Baseball or wider sports analytics experience.
