The Role

Nashville SC are recruiting a Data Analyst to support evidence-based decision-making across First Team performance, scouting, recruitment and high-performance operations.

Reporting to the Head of Analytics, the role combines football data analysis, visualisation and statistical modelling.

What You'll Do

• Analyse event, tracking and physical-performance data.
• Produce pre-match and post-match reports.
• Support player evaluation, recruitment and opposition analysis.
• Develop visualisations, metrics and analytical models.
• Maintain reproducible Python-based workflows.

What You'll Need

• Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Sports Analytics or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong Python, statistical analysis and visualisation skills.
• Experience developing statistical or machine-learning models.
• Good tactical understanding of football.
• Ability to communicate insights and manage competing deadlines.

Desirable: SQL, APIs, Git, data pipelines and experience with football tracking data.
