The Opportunity

The New York Yankees are recruiting an Advance Scouting Analyst to support their Minor League operations.

Reporting to the Director of Advance Scouting, the successful candidate will travel with an affiliate team, delivering statistical insights, scouting reports and analytical support to coaches and players.

Key Responsibilities

Produce and implement advance scouting reports.
Deliver statistical analysis and quantitative research.
Support tactical and strategic decision-making.
Communicate analytical findings to coaches and players.
Collaborate with Player Development, Quantitative Analysis and Performance Science departments.
Support individual player development plans.

Essential Requirements

Bachelor's degree.
Advanced baseball knowledge and understanding of sabermetrics.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Willingness to travel with an affiliate team.

Desirable: SQL, Python, R and Spanish language proficiency.
