Frontend Engineering Manager

Duties:

• Lead the design and development of our next-generation data analytics platform using cutting-edge technologies.
• Implement and enforce processes for the complete development cycle including design, implementation, unit testing, code review, testing automation, etc.
• Select and implement the right technologies to improve the scalability and productivity of the trading analytics group.
• Lead software development on the frontend of applications, leveraging a test-driven development pattern.
• Work in a hands-on engineering role serving as a key technical contributor to Swish Analytics product environment; 30% hands-on, 70% managerial
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to project requirements, and deliver high-quality products to serve client needs.
• Mentor and guide Engineers in utilizing JavaScript, React, and Node to build innovative frontend solutions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or similar major.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience developing enterprise software for business needs.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in software development with Node and React.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience leading teams consisting of Engineers and Product Managers.
• Strong SQL querying skills.
• Proven track record of leading engineering teams with minimal guidance.

Preferred:

• Previous experience in sports analytics or sports betting.
• Deep knowledge of football, basketball or baseball; including roster compositions of professional and college teams, general gameplay strategies, and typical in-game scenarios.

Salary: $145-175K
