Senior Backend Software Engineer (Node.js) - NT

As a Senior Backend Developer within DAZN's Technology Management & Performance Engineering team, DAZN is seeking a talented, The Node.JS & AWS Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying cloud-based applications using Node.JS, API's and AWS technologies.
Performance Engineering team is responsible for measuring and ensuring that the DAZN Platform scales and perform for millions of concurrent users. This involves load testing platform for various traffic patterns, working closely with AWS, vendors and internal teams to identify and solve the performance bottlenecks. Often it leads to evaluating alternate solutions like DBs and running POCs. Team is also responsible for cost optimization for compute.
This role is full-time, based in our Hyderabad, India office, 5 days a week WFO.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Node.JS and AWS development.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript on Backend prospect.
• Experience with AWS services, including but not limited to Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, CloudFormation, CloudFront, and CloudWatch.
• Experience with serverless computing, microservices architecture, and containerization.
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in a Scrum team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
