Business Intelligence Associate - MLS

**Position:**The Business Intelligence Associate is part of the Business Intelligence department for Minnesota United FC (MNUFC), a sports business located in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota and a member of Major League Soccer (MLS), the top-tier soccer league in North America. **Job Description:*The Business Intelligence Associate will be focused on gaining hands-on experience in establishing reporting and analytics impacting the Club’s Corporate Partnerships business. This position is highly analytical and technology-based, but requires business development sense and an entrepreneurial spirit.  This position will allow you to merge a passion for analytics and soccer, and promote your career growth in professional sports. This is a part-time seasonal position based in Golden Valley, MN. Responsibilities: Learn how the Business Intelligence Department supports business operations

• Learn how to use the software the Business Intelligence department uses on a daily basis including but not limited to Tableau, Salesforce, and KORE - Sponsorship module
• Assist in day-to-day administration of sponsorship CRM module, including deal sheet management, pipeline activity, inventory management, and rate card management
• Assist in the development and upkeep of Corporate Partnerships Tableau reports
• Assist with partnership performance asset tracking and analysis to develop detailed partnership recaps
• Assist with refreshing the Club’s sales story, levering insights and analytics to articulate why a partnership will drive value for partner brands and prospects
• Practice data analysis and learn how to create and deliver analysis
• Develop an analytics focused passion project to collect, clean, analyze data and present findings at conclusion of internship
• Ability to work gamedays to assist revenue departments as needed
• Assist with everyday processes and other long-term projects as assigned
• Communicate and present findings
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:* Pursuing a degree or recent graduate with a degree or diploma in mathematics, data science, statistics, economics or related field

• Technological aptitude; the ability to troubleshoot complex systems and solve reporting problems
• Some experience with technical tools for analysis preferred
• Some experience with database systems and database visualization preferred
• Very strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed
