Business Strategy & Analytics Intern 2025

This is a full-time, paid internship. Internship runs for 12 months with a flexible start date on or around June 2, 2025.

 

General Description

The Business Strategy & Analytics Intern will directly support all members of the Ravens Strategy & Analytics team. Responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to, assisting with data analysis, data visualization and reporting, data cleaning & input, storytelling and deck building, and supporting research and insights efforts.

 

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

 

• Clean & prepare raw data for analysis and data visualization.

• Mine data for trends and insights that address business problems.

• Assist in merging data sources into streamlined dashboards and reporting tools that aid in generating actionable and insightful analysis.

• Development, automation, and maintenance of key reports, visualizations and analysis to be utilized in the daily management of the business.

• Provide recommendations that directly address business goals and objectives using both quantitative and qualitative data.

• Assist with and/or own daily and weekly delivery of KPI reports.

• Build & train models for statistical analysis.

• Gather and present data for sponsorship recaps and performance.

• Build presentation decks for analysts to share with internal customers and key stakeholders.

• Work cross-functionally with other departments such as media, marketing, sponsorship, ticketing, PR & community relations, as needed.

• Support Strategy & Analytics efforts and respond to ad hoc queries in a timely manner.

• Attend weekly Strategy & Analytics staff meetings, and own updates to the Strategy & Analytics Portal.

Requisite Experience and/or Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in analytics, statistics, data science, computer science, business, mathematics or related and appropriate field. Must have graduated from a 4-year degree institution by the start date of internship. If currently enrolled in a graduate program, must be able to work 40-hour work week.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint.
• Experience with Tableau.
• Knowledge of SQL, Python, and/or R is required.

• The Intern will be expected to work full-time Monday through Friday (a minimum of 40 hours) by June of 2025.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays & special events, as necessary. Intern may be expected to work Ravens home games.
• Responsible for providing own housing in the Owings Mills/Baltimore area and reliable transportation. Position is based out of the Under Armour Performance Center in Owings Mills, MD. Occasional travel required to M&T Bank Stadium and other locations.
