Position DescriptionThe Haslam Sports Group Business Analytics group works closely with the Cleveland Browns and Columbus Crew in various non-football areas of the business, by providing access to information and insights to help optimize overall business-related operations of each club. Haslam Sports Group is seeking an entry level, full-time junior data engineer candidate. The primary duties of this candidate include maintaining ETL processes, developing reports and/or maintaining the quality of data. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 0-2 years of experience in the below duties & qualifications.
Desired Qualifications***Education/Experience Demonstrated desire for career in data engineering, through relevant completed certifications, college degree and/or work experience.
Skills* SQL (preferably Microsoft T-SQL)
- ETL (preferably SSIS)
- Reporting Platforms (preferably Tableau, SSRS)
- Object Oriented Coding (preferably C#)
- Flow Charting
Practical Experience/Duties* Responsible for designing, developing, and supporting ETL integrations/pipelines.
- Responsible for developing and optimizing SQL queries, views, functions and/or procs.
- Responsible for processing, cleansing and validating accuracy of data flowing in and out of the department.
- Responsible for developing and publishing reports.
- Responsible for gathering requirements and redesigning workflows/processes.
- The ability to learn and adapt to new/different technologies applications and platforms.
- Other duties as assigned.

- This is an in-person position located at the Browns Training Facility in Berea, OH.
- Business hours for this position are Monday - Friday 8:30-5:30 pm
- Occasionally working nights and/or weekends to monitor processes before/during and after games/matches.
