Marketing: Project Management Intern (Fall 2025)- COLLEGE CREDIT ONLY - MLS

This internship offers hands-on experience supporting the planning, execution, and delivery of creative marketing initiatives. Interns will gain exposure to cross-functional collaboration, campaign development, and real-world project workflows in a fast-paced professional sports environment. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and eager to learn the behind-the-scenes operations of a Major League Soccer club's marketing team. Please note: This is an unpaid internship for college credit only. To be eligible, candidates must be enrolled at an accredited academic institution and receiving college credit for their participation in the internship.
SEMESTER TERM: August 18- December 12

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:* Dynamic Project Management: Engage in diverse project management tasks, including creative initiatives, video production, digital campaigns, and merchandise development.

• Event Assistance: Play a vital role in supporting and executing various events, ensuring they run smoothly and successfully.
• Special Projects: Take on unique and challenging special projects that provide opportunities for growth and learning.
• Data Collection & Analysis: Collect and analyze data to generate insightful reports on various projects, helping to drive informed decision-making.
• Community Pub Partnerships: Collaborate with local neighborhood pubs to foster strong community partnerships and enhance brand presence.
• Industry Research: Conduct thorough research to stay informed about the latest industry trends, ensuring our strategies remain innovative and competitive.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Knowledge and interest in soccer

• Experience with Trello
• Great organization and accountability
• Strong communication and listening skills

REQUIREMENTS:* Enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program and eligible for college credit.

• Available 20-25 hours per week, including nights, weekends, and game days.
• The understanding that working in sports is different than being a fan. This position does not guarantee candidates will be able to watch games. Many valuable positions within the organization are behind the scenes, and they provide little ability to watch the games.
