Event Operations (Carolinas) - Data Tech / Scouting Role

Position Overview The position plays a role in the event operations of Prospect Select Baseball.  Prospect Select will provide a first-class representation of all staff members.  Data Tech / Scouting Role will work directly with the Lead Operator and Lead Scouts to ensure that games are started on time, scores are correct, tournament runs smoothly and efficiently as well as provide data and scouting coverage as assigned.  Essential Duties & Responsibilities* Manage all fields and facilities they are assigned

• Knowledge of all tournament rules, formats, and schedule
• Score each game using Scorebook software
• Record all pitch types and pitch velocity using Scorebook software
• Operate FlightScope Unit as assigned to capture in-game data metrics
• Capture in-game video scouting coverage as assigned
