The Recruitment Analyst will play a key role in ensuring that the club makes evidence-based decisions in the transfer market, combining data analysis with video and live scouting to contribute to building a competitive squad for EFL League One and beyond.
Key responsibilities
· Deliver detailed data-led analysis of prospective players using industry-standard platforms (e.g. Wyscout, Impect, Hudl Sportscode).
· Produce concise and insightful recruitment reports & video dossiers for the Head of Recruitment, coaching staff, and senior management.
· Maintain and develop the club’s player database alongside Data Scientist ensuring information is accurate and regularly updated.
· Analyse player performance data across domestic and international leagues to identify emerging talent.
· Provide video and statistical support for recruitment meetings and strategy sessions.
· Work collaboratively with scouts and the wider recruitment team to combine live observations with objective data.
· Track recruitment KPIs and support the evaluation of transfer targets post-signing.
· Assist in developing innovative recruitment processes and contribute to long-term succession planning.
