Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Assist in the coordination and execution of a variety of game day and special events for the Minnesota Twins. These events include jewel events (Opening Day, Twins Hall of Fame, etc.) as well as community outreach and inclusion events (Twins Cities Pride Festival, Inclusion at Bat, Minnesota State Fair, etc.).
- Supports the Community Engagement department with game day activations special events, Twins Community Fund events, social media storytelling, in-kind giving fulfillment family relations, and other duties as assigned.
Required Experience and Education:
- College student or recent college graduate.
Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to interact professionally with current players, alumni, and all people regardless of culture or background.
- Interest in event planning and community relations.
- Successfully able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Valid driver's license.
- Multi-lingual: Speaks another language other than English.
- Intercultural competency and communication.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
