Red Bull Advanced Technologies are looking for a Control Systems Engineer to join us on a contract basis to help develop control systems and software for RBAT projects. We have short term contract lengths available (4 Months / 6 Months). These contracts will be inside IR35.

Key Accountabilities:

To take direction from the Head of Software and Control Systems and develop control systems that meet project requirements.
To develop systems from initial specifications and requirements documents through to physical testing and prove-out for production applications.
To prototype control systems hardware and software using a range of tools including MATLAB / Simulink and dSpace Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) rigs.
To undertake other software development activities as required.
To take ownership of the functionality and performance of control system projects.

Key Competencies:

An engineering degree or equivalent, preferably in Control, Software or Electronic engineering.
A strong understanding of modern control system and software engineering approaches.
An understanding of MATLAB / Simulink for control systems software development.
An understanding of other software development tools (C#, Python, Java or similar).
An understanding of version control, issues tracking and software build systems.
An understanding of software development process and the implications of functional safety on that process.
