About the Role
As a Staff Data Analyst, you will be a key influential voice in shaping Veo's strategic direction through data-driven insights and analytical excellence. You will work across the organization to identify strategic opportunities, influence decision-making at all levels, and expand the analytical capabilities that enable company-wide success.
You will bring deep analytical expertise, grounded opinions, and strategic thinking to influence how Veo approaches complex business challenges, establish analytical standards that others follow, and create insights that shape organizational priorities and competitive positioning - including prototyping functional analytical data products that create ongoing business value What will you do:

• Influence company-wide strategic direction by identifying high-impact analytical opportunities and creating advanced analytical models that shape executive decision-making and influence product direction, market positioning, and operational strategy
• Develop and maintain scalable analytical methodologies and frameworks using best practices for data analysis, statistical modeling, experimentation, and insight generation that drive reliable business outcomes
• Champion adoption of advanced analytical approaches, including A/B testing and experimentation, establishing testing methodologies and statistical best practices that demonstrate value and build organizational analytical maturity
• Propagate analytical excellence across teams through mentoring, documentation, and knowledge sharing, driving continuous improvement of analytical practices and organizational data-driven culture
• Collaborate closely with executives and cross-functional teams to understand strategic requirements, translate complex analytical findings into actionable recommendations, and optimize decision-making processes
• Prototype and build functional analytical data products that translate complex data into actionable business value, moving from one-off analyses to a scalable product that drives revenue growth and strategic decisions

What could you bring:

• Proven experience in a similar role at Senior Analyst level or above with a track record of influencing strategic decisions and identifying company-wide opportunities through analytical insights
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and advanced statistical analysis, with strong experience in experimental design, A/B testing, and strategic modeling methodologies
• Strategic mindset with deep understanding of business dynamics and proven ability to connect analytical work to business outcomes and competitive advantage
• Strong communication and influence skills with the ability to shape thinking at executive levels through demonstration of value
• Ability to build organizational analytical capabilities through mentoring talent, influencing data governance standards, and driving adoption of advanced analytical approaches
