JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Β Reporting to the Director of Business Data & Analytics, the Business Intelligence Analyst, Ticketing is responsible for supporting our Ticketing ecosystem β including sales strategy, pricing, yield maximization, secondary market analysis, and day-to-day operations. The Analyst will manage the full lifecycle of strategic data analysis β from data management and governance to reporting, to developing dynamic reporting, advanced modeling, and compelling data visualizations that guide key business decisions. As a core, cross-functional partner within the Strategy & Analytics team, you will focus on empowering the Ticket Sales and Operations teams to maximize revenue, growth, and efficiency. This role centers on delivering timely and actionable data insights by providing critical market analysis, sales performance analytics, and data-driven research to optimize pricing and inventory strategy. This impactful role drives operational performance while contributing to our long-term business strategy by directly supporting: (i) sales strategy development, (ii) project management of key initiatives, and (iii) applied analytics to optimize revenue streams. Β ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITES:
- Elevate Business Intelligence: Develop and maintain high-quality data visualizations and dashboards focused on key ticketing metrics, providing insights to drive sales and operational decisions.
- Support Revenue Optimization and Strategy: Collaborate with Ticket Sales and Operations leadership to identify revenue opportunities, including optimizing ticket inventory mix, seat-level pricing strategies, and understanding the impact of promotions.
- Advanced Ticketing Analytics: Deliver core functional responsibilities crucial to the ticketing business, including sales forecasting, predictive modeling for new buyer and renewal strategies, lead scoring, and fan retention analysis.
- Customer & Fan Insight: Conduct in-depth customer research and segmentation based on purchase history and fan behavior to refine targeted sales campaigns and personalize fan communication.
- Communicate Strategic Findings: Clearly articulate complex analytical findings and present data-driven recommendations and business cases to department leaders across the organization.
- Project Management & Ad-Hoc Analysis: Manage and execute ad-hoc analytics projects from inception to completion, building for automation, interpretability, and business actionability.
- Cross-Functional Enablement: Serve as the primary analytics resource for the Ticket Sales and Operations teams, embedding a data-first approach into daily decisions.
- Data Integrity & Trend Identification: Conduct deep data exploration across all ticketing platforms (e.g., CRM, Archtics) to identify key performance trends and opportunities for process improvement.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
2-3 years of experience in a relevant role and/or the aforementioned experience combined with experience with a sport, entertainment and/or media/content business.
Advanced capabilities with analytical tools such as Python, R, SQL, Google Analytics, Power BI, etc.
Ability to solve problems with limited information and amid changing circumstances. Hypotheses driven and comfortable with ambiguity. Ability to logically break down approach and assumptions.
Experience developing compelling business cases and presentations. Excellent oral and written communication & presentation skills.
Team player, proactive, results-oriented, problem-solver, strategic thinker, highly organized, flexible, and strong analytical skills. Willingness to roll up sleeves and help as needed to advance the business.
Strong communication skills and collaborative work style to work across multiple business teams to efficiently drive results and impact. Deadline-driven, organized, and able to multi-task.
Ability to work in a team and on a standalone basis. Ability to develop a collaborative rapport with staff, partners, customers, clients, etc.
Proficiency with MS Office applications including Excel and PowerPoint.
Sports business experience a plus.
2-3 years of experience in a Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or highly quantitative role, preferably within sports, entertainment, or a high-volume transactional environment.
Advanced proficiency in SQL for querying, joining, and manipulating large datasets.
Demonstrated experience with Business Intelligence (BI) platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker) for developing dynamic reports and data visualizations.
Solid experience with statistical programming languages (e.g., Python or R) for advanced analysis, modeling, and automation.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data manipulation, modeling, and scenario analysis.
Direct experience with ticketing systems such as Archtics and Ticketmaster is a strong asset.
Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and marketing automation tools, and how they integrate with ticketing data.
Proven ability to conduct pricing analysis, inventory optimization, and fan segmentation based on transactional data.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to clearly articulate complex findings, compelling business cases, and data-driven recommendations to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proactive and highly organized team player with a strong willingness to be hands-on and collaborate effectively with diverse business teams (Sales, Operations, Marketing).
- Experience operating in a deadline-driven environment, managing multiple priorities and ad-hoc requests effectively.
EDUCATION:
- B.S. or B.A. Degree or equivalent degree in a field of business analytics or other applicable field of study and 2-3 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. An advanced degree preferred.
